GridGrind ("we", "our", or "us") operates the GridGrind mobile application and website (gridgrind.app). • Video content (challenge submissions, highlight reels, game film, profile media)
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card data)
• Communications sent through our in-app messaging system
• Referral codes and referral relationships

• Device identifiers, IP address, and operating system
• Usage data (features accessed, challenges viewed, time spent)
• Performance data and crash reports

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process payments and payouts through Stripe
• To display your recruiting profile to coaches and recruiters
• To facilitate challenge grading, coach feedback, and leaderboard rankings
• To operate the referral program and credit earnings to wallets
• To send push notifications relevant to your activity
• To monitor safety and enforce community guidelines
• To improve platform features and performance

3. Minor Athletes and Parental Controls

GridGrind serves athletes under 18. We take youth safety seriously:

• Athletes under 18 require a linked parent or guardian account to request payouts
• Parents can control who can send direct messages to their child
• Parents can approve or restrict coach access to their athlete's profile
• We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verified parental consent
• If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data without consent, contact us immediately at privacy@gridgrind.app

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Coaches and recruiters - your public profile, challenge submissions, and recruiting stats are visible to verified coaches and recruiters on the platform
• Stripe - for payment processing and Stripe Express payouts
• HeyGen - challenge scripts are sent to generate AI coach intro videos (no personal athlete data is included)
• Analytics providers - anonymized usage data to improve the platform
• Law enforcement - when required by law or to protect the safety of our users

5. Recruiting Data and NCAA Considerations

Your recruiting profile and performance data may be visible to college coaches, recruiters, and scouts who access the GridGrind platform. The referral and monetization programs are structured to support NCAA eligibility guidelines and do not constitute direct compensation from athletic programs. Athletes are responsible for consulting their institution's compliance office regarding their specific eligibility situation.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@gridgrind.app. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records).

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure authentication via Supabase, and payment processing exclusively through Stripe. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
